Creative & Nature-allied Writing Arts for Liberation & Healing
Hi, I’m Dal Kular.
I’m a writer, mentor and facilitator passionate about creative writing and nature-allied writing arts for healing, liberation and courage. Trusting my imagination and finding my own writing voice has changed my life. Now I love sharing all that I have learnt with people through my workshops, community offerings, courses and mentoring. I believe we need to tell our own stories and become the wild archivists of our own lives.
Read my poetry (un)interrupted tongues available from Fly On The Wall
“Each poem is a refusal and reclamation: a refusal to be bound by the hard lines imposed by racial and cultural binaries, stifling educational expectations and staid social convention, and a reclamation of heritage which enables Kular to overcome constraints and take her true form as an elemental force that dances in the wild winds.”
— Alex Rajinder Mason, University of Sheffield.
Field Notes to your inbox→
I love sending out monthly’ish Field Notes, a community missive where I share my experiences, thoughts and knowledges about re-wilding our words, our writing & voices, living an imaginative life & archiving the moments that matter. Proper down to earth-like. I’ve been writing these missives since 2015.
And as a thank you you’ll be gifted a copy of my Quiet Unstoppability workzine to plot your future creative adventures.

“Hello Dal, love reading your Field Notes, feels like a hug in an email.”
